Lets face it, we all need a good rest and relaxation moment every now and then and going out to indulge in your local day spas may not always be an option for you. I am one of those people that takes “self care” pretty seriously but I don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend for weekly professional treatments. Meaning, I have gotten pretty good at creating the ultimate spa day at home and I’m here to share my personal essentials with you guys!

Face Masks:
Duhhhh. What is a spa day without a good face mask? I am a little obsessed with them and I love all different kinds. Sheet masks, clay masks, gel masks, peel off masks, and my new favorite, hydrojelly masks! Different types of masks for different types of moods, ya know?
When you are choosing your face masks, you want to make sure you get the best type of mask for your skin! Find options that target any problem areas your skin has. “At home” masks can actually be pretty beneficial if you choose quality products that are right for you. Here are a few of my faves!
Nola Skinsentials “Pumpkin Enzyme Mask”
ZO Skin Health “Complexion Clearing Masque”
The Ordinary “AHA/BHA Peeling Solution”
Esthemax “Egyptian Rose” & “Illuminating Orange” Hydrojelly Masks
*p.s Esthemax is a “for licensed professionals only” site BUT I linked a retailer that carries a “diy” mask kit that anyone can purchase! I also recommend checking your local med spas and see if they carry them! I know Prive’ Med Spa in Lexington, KY carries some jelly masks. *

Foot Spa:
Yes honey, you totally need a foot spa in your life. Funny story, I bought a cheap foot spa to give as a “Dirty Santa” gift one year and the moment I bought it, I wanted it. I was working as a makeup artist at MAC and was on my feet all the time, so this looked heavenly to me. Me being me, I won it back in the game and lived happily ever after, haha! It is perfect for a little “pedispa” and I highly recommend you try one. I like to add a little “Teals” epsom salt to my foot bath and it is fantastic for sore/tired feet.
Here is the foot spa that I bought.

Facial Tools:
Facial tools are a really cool addition to your spa routine! I love using a Jade Roller that is chilled. I use it to stimulate the collagen and blood cells in my face and it is so relaxing and super calming. Another tool I love using is a little contoured stone called a “Gua Sha” to relieve tension in my facial muscles.
Both have quickly become spa essentials of mine. Here is a set with both the Jade Roller and the “Gua Sha”!
I am also OBSESSED with cupping my face. I know it sounds weird but I swear it’s a thing! There are tons of benefits from cupping, and I think it feels so so relaxing when incorporated into your skin care routine. I didn’t link a specific set because there are so many different options out there, but I got mine from Amazon so I recommend looking there! Last but not least, you have to have a good chilled eye mask!! I have a rose quartz one and I am obsessed with that thing. It feels so luxurious, and we all need a little extra luxury in this life, right? Here is a mask that I found, similar to mine!

Hair Treatments:
We gotta show our locks some love too! I am obsessed with keratin treatments like this one from Paul Mitchell! Keratin helps to improve your hair strength and texture. It also helps to smooth out frizzy, unruly hair. Another treatment fave of mine is the No.3 Hair Perfector from Olaplex! You can find it here! I totally recommend getting an inexpensive little portable hair dryer as well. The one that sits up and covers your entire head, you know the one!
Just keep in mind that although adding heat to some hair treatments can be super beneficial, you want to make sure you are aware of how hot your dryer is, and make sure you don’t over use it. Here is the one I have, but there are tons of other more inexpensive options available!
All of these things are so fun and a great way to treat yourself in the comforts of your own home! You deserve to treat yourself & show yourself some extra love. We all have to prioritize taking care of “me”.
On that note, go enjoy! xoxo
